Boxspring beds as they are in use in many great hotel worldwide are well-known and can give your home also a touch of comfort and luxury.

Originally boxspring only was a simple box of wood with a core of springs inside on which a mattress, usually also with springs inside, was placed.

In high quality modern boxspring beds today the simple spring core has been replaced by highly elastic pocket springs. The same applies to the mattress which is divided in 5 or 7 comfort zones and available in different firmnesses. A topper on top of the mattress guarantees an even better adaptation to the body and creates the feeling of sleeping on a cloud.

Today many manufacturers offer boxspring systems also with other mattresses as for example HR foam which is highly recommendable especially for articulated bases because of its higher flexibility.

1. Choose the base with 7 zone pocket springs from the series Classic or Modern. For each base there are several types of legs made of wood or metal.
2. Choose one out of 5 high quality pocket springs mattresses or one out of 4 HR foam mattresses, which we especially recommend for the articulated bases Classic-move. All mattresses can be served in three different firmnesses, which as of a width of 160cm can be chosen separately for each side. Mattress cover can be made of the same fabric as base and headboard or of standard mattress fabric.
3. Choose one out 9 toppers to get your perfect combination for a restful sleep.
4. Adding one out fo 15 different headboards gives the bed your personal touch.
5. If you prefer the comfort of an articulated base for widths as of 160 cm there is the Classic-move box with two individual silent motors and remote control.

And in case you like to change anything the modular set up of the bed makes it possible to change individual components.

Box Inside - the "framed" boxspring

Another big advantage of a boxspring bed is his elegant and slim appearance without the necessity of a bed frame. If, however, you like wooden or upholstered bed frames you don't need to do without the boxspring feeling. HASENA offers the Box Inside 14 base which can be placed in every standard bed frame of all HASENA bed series replacing the standard slatted base.
